Confidentiality and data protection.

This page describes how the www.mooc2move.eu and conference.mooc2move.eu sites are managed with reference to the processing of personal data of users who consult it or who register for the International Conference "MOOCs, Language Learning, and Mobility" which will take place on 9 and 10 October 2020 (hereinafter, for the sake of brevity, "Conference". This information is provided pursuant to Article 13 of EU Regulation 2016/679 - General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR") in order to provide information about the purposes and methods of processing personal data provided. The information is not provided for other websites that may be consulted by the user via links.
All personal data is collected and processed in compliance with national and EU data protection laws.

Person/s responsible for the processing

FENICE informs the user that the personal data obtained as a result of user registration or through completing the contact form, shall be incorporated into a file owned by FENICE, with the aim of maintaining and managing the relationship with the user, as well as for information activities. At the time of the general conditions' acceptance, FENICE will need some essential details from the user in order to render the services and or information. The owner of the data processing is: Federazione Nazionale Insegnanti Centro di iniziativa per l’Europa (hereinafter FENICE) - Via Tito Angelini, 19 - 80129 Napoli, Italy.

You can contact the Data Controller to request any clarifications regarding the protection of personal data, and for the exercise of the rights provided by the GDPR in the following paragraph of this information. Data collection purposes

Data collection and processing are carried out:

  1. to provide training services in implementation of FENICE institutional purposes (such as training courses, seminars, events, etc.). In particular, the data processing is carried out to allow the registration to the International Conference "MOOCs, Language Learning, and Mobility" which will take place on 9 and 10 October 2020. In such cases, the legal basis of the treatment consists in the execution of contractual obligations by the Association pursuant to art. 6.1, letter b) of the RGPD);
  2. for the correct execution of obligations provided for by laws, regulations or Community legislation, as well as for complying with control requests coming from the Erasmus + Agency to which the Association is subject as a partner of a project co-financed with EU funds (for example tax assessments). In such cases, the legal basis of the processing is the fulfilment of a legal obligation pursuant to art. 6.1, letter c) of the RGDP);
  3. with the explicit consent, for purposes ancillary to the provision of statutory and regulatory services, such as, for example, to use the FENICE newsletter or the Scuol @ Europa magazine and the initiatives promoted by FENICE. The Newsletter concerning the promotion of FENICE educational and institutional initiatives and the magazine are distributed via e-mail - automatically and free of charge - to those who request to receive it at the time of enrolment in FENICE educational activities or by filling in the form on this site. In such cases, the legal basis of the processing consists in the manifestation of explicit consent pursuant to art. 6.1, letter a) of the RGDP);
  4. in the case of data deriving from browsing the site, for the sole purpose of obtaining anonymous statistical information on the use of the site and to check its correct functioning and are maintained for the minimum period required by current legislation. The navigation data could be used to ascertain responsibility in case of hypothetical computer crimes against the site.

The place where data is processed

The treatments connected to the web services of this site take place at FENICE’s head office, in Naples at via Tito Angelini, 19, where the server that physically contains the data is managed. Personal data are only handled by the FENICE’s technical staff specifically in charge of processing, or by those responsible for occasional maintenance activities. No data obtained from the web service will be communicated or disclosed to third parties. Personal data provided by users forwarding requests for registration to the Conference or for sending informative material (newsletters, answers to questions, brochures, documents, etc.) is only used to carry out the requested service and is only disclosed to third parties if necessary for said purpose.
FENICE guarantees that the processing of data – whether this has been acquired by email, from electronic forms, or in another way – complies with the provisions of the legislation on the protection of personal data. See www.garanteprivacy.it in this regard.

The methods of processing

Personal data is processed by automated tools for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which it was collected. Specific security measures are observed to prevent the loss of data, illicit or incorrect use and unauthorized access.
The processing of personal data by FENICE takes place exclusively for the purposes set forth in the previous point B of this information notice. Only for these purposes, the same may also be communicated to certifying administrations, during the control of the substitutive declarations given for the purposes of the DPR n. 445/2000;
The treatment does not concern particular categories of personal data (c.d. "sensitive data") or data relating to criminal convictions and crimes.
No automated processing or profiling of personal data is performed.

Rights against the Data Controller

At any time you will be able to exercise, where applicable, your rights towards the Data Controller in accordance with articles 15-22 of the EU Regulation 2016/679, or the rights to:

  • access to personal data;
  • rectification of the same when they have been incorrectly transcribed;
  • update and / or integration of your data when they are changed;
  • cancellation request;
  • oppose the processing for legitimate reasons;
  • revoke consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of the processing based on the consent given before the revocation;
  • propose a complaint to the Guarantor Authority for the protection of personal data.
