Call for Papers (deadline: December 4, 2020)

We invite proposals including research-related papers, presentations of case studies and projects on the subject of LMOOCs (Language MOOCs), including language learning and teaching with MOOCs; OER/OEP for language learning and teaching; MOOCs and student mobility; and initiatives and developments linked to these fields supported by European and national programmes.

We particularly encourage proposals on, but not limited to, the following areas related to the conference themes:

  1. MOOCs - design, learning, teaching, quality assurance, etc.
  2. OER / OEP for language learning and teaching
  3. Pedagogical approaches in language MOOCs
  4. MOOCs and OERs for language teachers: new tools for professional development
  5. LMOOCs and skills development
  6. MOOCs to support multilingualism and international Mobility
  7. LMOOCs and learners’ motivation and achievement
  8. Recognition and validation of language skills acquired through MOOCs
  9. Monitoring and evaluating of language learning with technologies
  10. Assessing students’ linguistic meta-competences in MOOCs
  11. Assessing LMOOCs
  12. Mobile-assisted language teaching and learning
  13. Informal language learning and technologies
  14. Virtual classrooms, eLearning, and ePortfolio
  15. Technologies and/or Multimedia for Languages for Specific Purposes (LSP)
  16. Technologies and/or Multimedia for Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL)

We invite to submit abstracts for a 20-minute presentation. The conference presentations can be in English, French, Spanish or Italian.

Abstracts and papers submitted will be peer-reviewed by two independent reviewers based on originality, quality and suitability.

Our conference, held for the fourth time, represents an opportunity for both early career researchers and for consolidated scientists to present their work, which will reflect the results of research, not published before.

After completing the registration here, please read carefully the Presentation instructions before e-mailing your abstract following the template provided by December 4, 2020.  The scientific committee will review each abstract and will provide a judgment on the presentation’s suitability for the conference. We will notify you by January 9, 2021 if it has been accepted. In this case, you will have to submit your full paper by April 10, 2021.

Responsibility for the content of each abstracts lies with the authors and the presentation abstracts (if accepted) will appear in the conference proceedings.

We will publish the papers (if accepted) as a collection in HAL (Hyper Articles en Ligne) (https://hal.archives-ouvertes.fr/M2M).
